Our Charity Initiatives

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”      Luke 6:38

Our Second Contribution to Somebody Cares Food Bank

By the grace of God, we have made our second donation today to the local charity ‘Somebody Cares’. Special thanks to Prakash for giving up his valuable time and supporting our charity initiative.

We continue to collect non-perishable food items on every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at the Great Western Community Centre during our Tea and Coffee Fellowship (3:30–5:00 PM).

You can join us, enjoy fellowship over tea or coffee, and even pick up an Indian Curry Box for a voluntary contribution, with proceeds supporting the food bank.

All contributions will be delivered to Somebody Cares at the end of each month. Together, we’re making a tangible difference in our community.

Thank you to everyone who has joined hands in this effort. Let’s continue to share and care!

Warm regards,
STIOC Aberdeen

Blood Donation Drive

We are pleased to announce that IOC Aberdeen is actively supporting ‘SCOTBLOOD’ through an organised Blood Donation Drive. Our dedicated members will be donating blood in groups during the second and third weeks of December.

We are proud to share that our first batch of donors has successfully contributed to this noble cause, embodying the spirit of community and generosity. Their commitment and effort are truly commendable, and we encourage more members to participate in the upcoming sessions.

Together, we can make a difference and save lives. Join us in this vital initiative and be a part of something extraordinary.

Warm regards,
STIOC Aberdeen

Church Community Supports Barnardo's Charity

Our church community recently rallied together to support Barnardo's, a charity dedicated to helping disadvantaged children. Organized by our Youth Committee, generous donations were collected and delivered to Barnardo's by Ms. Jewel Jacob on April 15, 2024.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to this meaningful cause. Your kindness will bring hope to many children in need. Stay tuned to our website for more ways to get involved in our charitable efforts.
